TERRAIN & PACE: Easy, Flat Terrain, Leisurely Pace

Come explore a section of the Davis Farm that abuts the Osbrook Preserve and has seen very little change since the early 1600’s. Kevin McBride, Ph.D, Associate Professor of Anthropology at UCONN, will be our guide.

We’ll view the location of historic sites and wind our way down to the shore of the Pawcatuck River. You may wish to bring binoculars, if you have them.  

We’ll meet on Osbrook Point Road at the Osbrook Preserve sign, which is approximately nine-tenths of a mile down Osbrook Point Road.

 

Sturdy footgear, sunscreen, tick / insect repellent are recommended.
